Top 7 Dropshipper Advantages

Saturday, June 30th, 2007

Here are seven reasons you should consider being a dropshipper.

1. Low Capital Requirement: Instead of paying to stock inventory, your customer finances the order. For example, if an item costs fifty dollars from your dropship supplier, you might charge your customer one hundred dollars for the product plus applicable shipping charges. When you receive payment from your customer, you will then send fifty dollars plus shipping charges to your dropship supplier. You have just made fifty dollars gross profit entirely financed by your customer.

2. No Inventory Required: You will not need to worry about how to finance high minimum orders of wholesale merchandise, getting stuck with stock that won’t sell. or extra costs for warehouse space, insurance, shrinkage, and so on.

3. Expanded Product Line: In addition to your own products and services, you may increase your sales and profits by selling other peoples’ products.

4. No Product Fulfillment: Your dropship supplier picks, packages and ships the orders to the customer.

5. Keep Expenses Variable: Instead of having a high fixed overhead, more of your costs will be variable. You don’t pay for inventory, for example, until you have a sale.

6. No Minimum Order Requirements: Dropship as little as one item.

7. Increase Sales of Your Own Products: On the other side of the coin, have you considered the advantages of drop shipping your own products? In return for giving your dealers a wholesale price, you may sell significantly more product than you could on your own. You would have to ship the products on behalf of your drop shipping dealers.

Minnesota Felony DUI

In Minnesota, your arrest for driving under the influence means you’ll face two different cases. One is a criminal case where you’ll face criminal charges for driving under the influence. If you are convicted, you will face criminal penalties that include fines, probation, alcohol counseling, and possible jail time. The second case is an administrative case where the driver’s license agency will want to suspend your license for a period of time determined by the number of DUI offenses on your record and the laws concerning driving under the influence. Both of these cases can negatively change your life if you are unable to defend yourself. If you have refused to take a chemical test, you will also face additional criminal charges since refusal is a separate criminal offense in Minnesota. If you have accumulated several DUI offenses in Minnesota, you may face Minnesota felony DUI charges against you. This is very serious, so you need to face these charges head-on and consult a DUI attorney for help.

Criminal Penalties for Misdemeanor DUI and Minnesota Felony DUI

If you are convicted of a DUI offense in the state of Minnesota, there are a number of penalties that can be imposed. A first DUI offense can result in up to 90 days of jail time, fines, mandatory participation in alcohol education programs, and driver’s license suspension or revocation. Aggravating factors may change the charge from a misdemeanor to a gross misdemeanor. In this happens, the penalties can be up to one year of jail time and a fine of $3,000. A second DUI conviction in the state of Minnesota is also classified as a gross misdemeanor and carries the same penalties of up to one year in jail and a fine of $3,000. A third DUI conviction will result in jail time and fines as well as vehicle impoundment and alcohol abuse evaluation because of the serious nature of the crime. Minnesota felony DUI occurs when you accumulate a fourth DUI offense in Minnesota. The penalties for this very serious offense include three years in prison and fines of no less than $14,000.

The penalties imposed if you are convicted of DUI will be based on a number of circumstances considered by the judge. Aggravating factors may include having more than one conviction in a 10-year timeframe, having a BAC level of twice the legal limit, and having a minor in the vehicle with you while you are committing a DUI offense. A first degree DUI is charged when three or more aggravating factors exist in a DUI case. This DUI offense is classified as a felony and may result in penalties of up to five years in jail and $10,000 in fines. Second degree DWI offenses are considered to be gross misdemeanors and may result in up to one year in jail and a $3,000 fine. The court may also take away the offender’s license plates or have the vehicle impounded or forfeiter. A third degree DUI offense is charged if only one aggravating factor was involved or if the driver of the vehicle refused chemical testing. Penalties can include one year of jail time and up to $3,000 in fines. If no aggravating factors exist, then the DUI is considered to be a fourth degree offense. This is a misdemeanor and has lesser penalties of 90 days in jail and smaller fines. Finding a DUI attorney to handle your case is important, especially if you are charged with Minnesota felony DUI.

Administrative Penalties for Misdemeanor & Minnesota Felony DUI

If you have a second or subsequent DUI offense within a five-year period, the license suspension period is at least one year. You can even have your license permanently revoked if you continue to accumulate offenses. If you are to have any chance of getting your privileges back, you need to prove that you have been rehabilitated. Depending on your number of convictions, you may be eligible for a work license during your suspension. This restricted license would allow you to drive to and from work and any other necessary locations. Getting this restricted license requires you to pay a reinstatement fee, pay a reapplication fee, have an interview with a Driver Evaluator, and take and pass a DUI driver’s test. The person administering the interview will decide if you are eligible for a restricted license and will also decide what the limitations on this license will be. Having an attorney defend you can help you get your license back sooner so you can go about your life

A Herbal Cure to Constipation

Wednesday, June 20th, 2007

Constipation is usually associated with three things, the pain in bowel movement and the inability to have bowel movement after a long period of straining in the stool and the absence of bowel movement after several days, which is generally three days or more. However, there is really no clear definition on what would constitute a person suffering from constipation because bathroom patterns vary from one person to the next. For example, on person may have to go to the bathroom every single day, but similarly, another person’s routine may involve going to the bathroom only after two days.

Generally though, the person himself will know if he is suffering from constipation if he experiences its symptoms such as irregular and infrequent bowel movement, a sudden decrease in the frequency of the need to go to the bathroom, his bowel still feels quite full even after the passage of stools and the abnormal difficulty in having bowel movements. You should also note that there are various causes of constipation. But in most cases, people suffering from constipation have some similarities with regards to their lifestyle like eating unhealthy food, lack of regular exercise, insufficient amount of fluid in the body because they do not drink enough water and the stress they have to deal with. But other factors can also contribute to constipation. For example, pregnancy can alter your bathroom habits and you may have some difficulty in the passage of stools. Some medical conditions can also prove to have some adverse effects like having difficulties in passing stools.

On the other hand, some people suffer from chronic constipation. This condition is actually very hard to live with because you experience difficulty in your bowel movements every time you go to the bathroom. However, chronic constipation is quite easy to cure if a person is committed to a lifestyle change because more often than not, chronic constipation is a result of an unhealthy lifestyle. Also, you can use some medications such as laxatives that can let you have some relief from this condition.

Meanwhile, you can also try some alternative cures such as herbal medicines because it is proven to help in constipation in some ways. But you should also be careful when choosing herb supplement because like chemical laxative, herb laxatives is also not good for you in the long term if you constantly use it to cure your condition. Also remember that laxatives are generally reserved for people with sever cases of constipation or those looking for an instant relief because of an emergency.

For people experiencing mild constipation, it is better for them to try mineral oils or even the milk of magnesia for them to cure this condition. They can also try the bitter liquid derived from aloe vera, this can be a very powerful laxative if ingested, but this is also not good for long-term use because it can cause a person to have severe and painful cramping. In addition, you should first consult with a healthcare professional before you take any form of medication whether it is herbal or not.

Main Characteristics Of Streptococcus Infections

Tuesday, June 19th, 2007

Symptoms of sore throats caused by streptococcus bacteria group A differ from easy headaches and fever to severe pain and inflammations of throat and tonsils. In any form of apparition, the streptococcus infection must be treated with antibiotics to prevent complications and contagiousness for other persons.

In spite of the cases when the streptococcus is detected in rapid tests, most of the sore throats are triggered by viral infections, most of them caused by Influenza viruses. There are more types of streptococci responsible for different cases of throat pains; some of the strains release dangerous toxins that trigger allergic reactions such as fever rashes. Left untreated, streptococcus infections can spread to the other main organs and cause conditions affecting the heart like rheumatism or the kidneys like the glomerulonephritis.

Children under the age of three rarely develop streptococcus infections and most of the cases do not originate in the throat. The most exposed patients to sore throats triggered by the strep bacteria are children between 5 and 15 years of age. Most often, streptococcus infections occur during the months when children are in close contact with each other, representing late fall, winter and early spring.

The streptococcus sore throat develops the first symptoms within the first 3-5 days after they have been exposed and have caught the bacteria. This is the incubation period required for streptococci to multiply inside the body. Symptoms like fever, sore throat, headaches, chills, stomachaches and nausea appear sudden. The sore throat appears inflamed, irritated and the tonsils are red, swollen and covered with white or yellow points on the surface. On the roof of the mouth, some patients develop red or purple spots. The lymph nodes around the neck usually appear inflamed due to the bacterial aggression.

From persons to person, the sore throat symptoms differ from very mild forms to severe pain and general illness.

Streptococcus infections causing sore throat can easily be misdiagnosed as they resemble very much to other types of conditions triggered by Adenoviruses, Epstein Barr virus or by the bacteria Mycoplasma. Therefore, a complete diagnosis can only be established after a rapid strep test, a physical examination and a medical history of the patient. An appropriate medication with antibiotics can be prescribed when the positive diagnose of streptococcus is confirmed with a bacterial culture.

The classic treatment for streptococcus infections is represented by antibiotics that cannot reduce the disease period very much but can prevent complications and prevent the patients from spreading the bacteria. Antibiotics are only recommended if the exact type of streptococcus or other microbe has been established. The antibiotic effect can be increased by the administration of Ibuprofen.

Patients diagnosed with streptococcus must be kept in quarantine, especially children, in order to prevent contact with healthy subjects. After the antibiotic therapy has been started, persons can resume their activity inside the community. All patients should change their toothbrush after they gave been treated from streptococcus in order to prevent re-infection.

What Do You Want?

Thursday, June 7th, 2007

I don’t know about you, but I’m often guilty of begging God…for answers, for help, for anything. And if we’re not cautious, that’s the direction our prayers often turn.

Did you know that asking something of God and faith go hand in hand? Yep, that’s right. See, when you ask, you are supposed to believe that what you’re asking for will happen. Mark 11:24 says: “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (NIV)

So how’s your faith standing today?

Now, the question that I’m leading up to with all this is, what exactly do you want? Don’t think about all the frivolous things that you always beg pray for. Think about what is really important to you. Now, what do you really want?

See, the thing is, until you are absolutlely clear and have a vision, you are asking amiss. Get your mind and thoughts focused on the good things. How do you see yourself? Can you see that situation turning into something positive? You must have a vision.

Get a clear picture in your mind of the thoughts, feelings, sights, tastes, smells, etc. What do you want your experience to be? Keep that image in your mind. And when your faith runs low, pull that picture into your mind again. Continue reminding yourself of that good, perfect thing that you asked for.

“If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.” - Matthew 21:22

The Threat of Traditional Fireplaces: European Communities Lead the Way

Friday, June 1st, 2007

It’s a rather eye-opening caution that several communities in Europe have banned the installation of fixed fireplaces in newly built homes. Some are further working on the ban of fixed fireplaces that are already in place. Even though it is a fact that European communities don’t normally share the same freedoms neighborhoods in America do, it is also a fact that many American communities place mandates on its own residents.

Housing developments across America have established regulations as a form of policing their own communities. Lakewood in Fort Ashby, West Virginia has sizing restrictions on new houses built around its lake. Seaside, Florida has adopted several regulations that all center on the new urbanism philosophy. These communities can enforce such regulations because it is a resident’s choice to invest in such housing. Simply enough said, if they don’t like the regulations, then they don’t have to live there.

Traditional log burning fireplaces were a great idea in the historical perspective of things when they were the sole heating source of a ranch in the middle of nowhere. When hunting was the only way to have red meat for supper, when cooking couldn’t possibly have been done on a gas stove, wood burning fireplaces solved heating and cooking problems. Wood that was cut to be burned didn’t stay on the pile long throughout the winter.

But, housing has changed. City dwellers have so many other solutions available to them. They just like the tradition and the ambiance of the fireplace. Yet, it is being observed more and more as a health hazard to have a fireplace in a residential neighborhood, and worse is to have one in every home in that community.

A common finding in communities with wood burning fireplaces is a dangerously high level of the fungus Ceratocystis fagacearum or oak wilt. Firewood storage areas on the side or the back of the houses will be rich in the fungus because infected woods that are delivered to these communities bring with them the spores that eventually spread to good wood. Burning the infected wood in the fireplace results in an even wider spread of the fungus throughout the home. Dangers to human contact with the fungus have not yet been fully recognized, but it is firmly noted that it should be seriously avoided.

Further objections to wood burning fireplaces include what it is doing to the atmosphere. One home on the side of a mountain a hundred years ago had no impact on air pollution. But, a report from the Environmental Protection Agency states, “Wood smoke contains hundreds of chemical compounds, including nitrogen oxides, carbon monoxide, organic gases, and particulate matter.” This report comes as a result of the amount of wood burning smoke being emitted into the air these days.

It is time to look to Ventless Gel Fireplaces for the answer to adding alternative heat and fireplace ambiance to your home comfort. Plenty of European communities have adopted the Ventless Gel Fireplace and are living quite happily and hazard free. The Ventless Gel Fireplace doesn’t require the burning of any logs, infected or not. Plus, there is no smoke of any kind emitted. Keep your community and your family safe! It’s the greatest thing you can do.

The Convenience of Online College Degrees

Friday, June 1st, 2007

I remember my college days with real fondness. It was a great learning experience and I don’t mean that just in the academic sense. I’m talking about the entire experience, from staying at a dorm to exploring the campus to participating in frat house activities, just a whole wide range of experiences. And I’m not alone; millions of students and former students all over the United States feel exactly the way I do. I would not trade my experience in college for anything. But that said, I think there are also excellent opportunities offered by online college programs.

Now, I am not one to look down on someone else just because he does not have a college degree. It really does not matter to me. I know a number of fine people who have found success and happiness in life even without the advantage of higher educational credentials. In fact, I seem to recall that one of the richest men on Earth did not finish his college degree. Let me see, I think his name is Bill Gates or something. In any case, a college degree is not always essential. However, I have to admit that having that degree does make finding a decent, well-paying job a whole lot easier. Companies do prefer college graduates as employees. And a college degree can really fast-track your career path.

But perhaps it’s just not convenient for you to attend classes at a university. It may be that the college of your choice is at a distant location and you do not want to be separated from your family. Or it may be that you have the kind of work schedule that makes attending regular classes almost impossible. For one reason or another, you just cannot go through the whole college experience. However, if academic qualifications are what count, then you can avail of the option of an online college program.

With an online college program, you do not have to worry about getting to class on time or fixing up your schedule to fit your working hours. You can adapt your online study schedule to your lifestyle, instead of making major changes in your life. And since you can take online lessons in front of your computer at home, you do not have to worry about traveling and being away from your family and office for extended periods of time. You do not have to take time off from work, and you are not forced to move away from home, just so you can attend classes at a far-off college campus.

So if you have never taken that college degree just because your schedule and lifestyle held you back, worry no more. An online college degree is exactly what you are looking for.

Authentic Marketing Yields Powerful Customer Connections

Friday, June 1st, 2007

Many people put off marketing their companies because they don’t feel authentic when they are in “sales mode,” or they believe that marketing is inherently untruthful. Without marketing, their companies fail to realize the full success that is possible, and potential clients go unserved.

How would you feel about doing marketing for your business if it felt completely authentic and truthful? Would you be able to overcome any childhood instructions not to “blow your own horn” or boast if the words seemed natural, honest and comfortable?

I’ve found that when my clients discover what I call their “True Voice,” many of their objections to marketing melt away. That’s because using your True Voice to market your firm feels natural, sounds authentic and just seems to flow. The True Voice of your business is in the words that seem to show up again and again in the way you describe your company, the way others introduce you and your company and the way clients express their appreciation for what your company did for them. Many companies never recognize or harness their True Voice, so their marketing materials sound contrived, generic or insincere.

Here are five tips to find and use the True Voice of your business:

Listen to yourself. The next time someone asks you to describe what you do or to tell them about your company, listen to yourself as you talk. If you have developed an “elevator speech,” write it down and take a good look. What verbs are you using? What adjectives? What nouns? Make a list—you’ll come back to it as you work through the tips.

Listen to your clients. Take some of your best clients to lunch and ask them to tell you what it is they like about your company. Explain that you are rethinking your marketing and want to make sure you are on target. Or, pull out the comment cards and emails sent by happy customers and look at the words they use. Once again, jot down the nouns, verbs, adjectives and phrases that show up. Do some appear more than once? Underline the words and phrases that are used frequently.

Listen to your employees. Ask your best employees what they like most about what they do. Ask them to tell you about how they help customers. Ask them to describe the business and its products—and the solutions you provide. What problem or need do they think they are solving? Add the key words and phrases to your list.

Listen to your friends. If you are introduced at a business function by one of your colleagues, what words do they use to describe your business and your service? What problem to they say you solve? Read over your own marketing materials. Do the same solutions or phrases pop up frequently? Write them down.

You now have a list of key words and phrases that seem to naturally describe what you do, who you serve and what benefit you provide. Think about the words as you read them. Often when clients work through this exercise, they discover that they are solving much more important problems for their customers than they first thought. They also discover powerful words that show their uniqueness and capture their full benefit. To use your True Voice, take the most powerful words from your list and look for ways to use those words and phrases intentionally throughout your spoken and written communications.

When you use these True Voice words and phrases, you will feel honest and comfortable, because the words spring from who you really are and from the mission of your company. You’ll find that the words make it easy to differentiate your services, because they come from your strengths and from the tangible benefits you have provided to your customers.

Intentionally using the True Voice of your business will make your marketing materials unique, compelling and natural, and you’ll feel more comfortable and confident speaking on your own behalf.

How To Save Thousands On A Great Auto Loan

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

Some people think that getting a great loan deal for a new or used car or truck is just a matter of being at the right place at the right time, or perhaps a matter of how hungry the dealership is at the time you make the purchase. Totally wrong. Getting a good auto loan rate is not luck, but rather a skill that you must learn. Why depend on luck when a bit of research before the purchase can give you more bargaining power? When you are in a better position to negotiate the price, then you are savings even more money.

This same logic can apply to refinancing an existing auto loan where you were not in a position at that time to get the best possible loan deal, or perhaps didn’t know at that time that better deals were available. But whether refinancing an existing auto loan or finding the best deal on a new auto loan, you need to realize that the financing deal is a critical component of the whole deal, and getting the best possible deal can keep hundreds and even thousands of dollars in your pocket.

Like anything else, the informed consumer is the one who saves the most. Know what the prices are, what they could or should be, and do your homework. Some people have even taken the attitude that they are being paid like $50 or more per hour to do this homework before the purchase, because in effect, that is exactly what they are doing in terms of how much they can save by having this information in their back pocket BEFORE they step into the car showroom.

Your first step is to go online and find out how much you should be paying for the car or truck you have in mind. Then you can run various different scenarios with the built-in calculator at many of the online car shopping sites, determining the monthly payment amount of various amounts of down payment, interest rate, and term of the loan. Compare that against your personal budget and you will already know what you can and cannot do before you even start shopping, and potentially wasting your time.

Some people have said that online sources are your best place to get an auto loan. Let us correct that statement right now – they can be a GOOD place to get an auto loan but they are not necessarily the BEST place. Local banks and credit unions frequently have specials for car loan deals, and like any smart shopper, you need to be aware of what they offer to see if you already have found a source offering a better deal on your car or truck financing.

Your best deal for an auto loan is going to come from a good credit score rating. Do you know what your credit score is? It would be well worth your time and effort to find out so that if there are errors in your credit report, you can get those errors corrected and get the best deal. Even a difference of 1% in your auto loan interest rate can mean the difference of a few hundred dollars over the life of the loan.

Unless you already know for a fact that your credit report is squeaky clean, be aware that it is probably not as clean as you think it is. The majority of consumers have ERRORS on their credit report, and the only way those get fixed is if YOU file a dispute with the credit bureaus. Get more information about how to Improve Your Credit Score in order to have the best credit score possible, which will qualify you for the best financing deal possible.

Bottom line: do your homework, since shopping for the best financing deal is every bit as important as the other things such as the make and model of the car you are buying.

An Allegory about the Isreal-Palistine Situation

Thursday, May 31st, 2007

Imagine a large house that has an extended family living in it. The family has lived in the neighborhood peacefully for generations with no major problems during this time. Then, one day a group of uninvited outsiders show up at the door claiming that their God gave them the house and that the family should leave immediately. As might be expected, the homeowners refuse.

The outsiders decide to harass the homeowners by breaking windows, blowing up the mailbox, scribbling graffiti on the walls and generally making themselves extremely annoying. The homeowners call town hall to protest the harassment. When the outsiders are presented with the complaints by the city officials, they give a tale of woe that includes long years of suffering and deprivation. They also claim discrimination and unjust treatment for many generations. Besides this tale, they offer circumstantial evidence that they once lived in the house many years ago and therefore have a right to live there again.

The government sees that the outsiders are a rowdy bunch with no respect for outside authority, and that they are well equipped with an attitude that enables them to keep up their campaign of harassment indefinably. Consequently, they decide that something must be done to keep the situation from getting totally out of hand.

The government and the neighbors get together to formulate a plan that they see as a solution to the problem. The plan is to let the outsiders move in to the house with the government’s apparent approval. Once they are settled in, the neighbors will get together and forcefully evict them, claiming that the outsiders are breaking long standing neighborhood covenants. The outsiders will be sent packing, the government will be seen as doing the right thing, and the homeowners can move back in to the house, bringing everything back to normal.

When the plan is implemented, the homeowners leave, some moving in with the neighbors and the rest moving into the basement. The outsiders move in to the main house and everything seems to be going as planned.

When the eviction notice is presented to the outsiders, things go terribly wrong. Rather than leave peacefully, the outsiders tear up the notice and beat up the community leaders, putting several in the hospital. They then proceed to threaten the rest of the neighborhood, intimidating everyone that prevents any one group to try anything in retaliation.

The homeowners, who move in to the basement thinking they will get right out again, are now considered refugees by the outsiders. The outsiders continueto keep them in the basement, abusing and humiliating them every chance they got.

Over the next thirty years the neighbors tried to reclaim the house for the homeowners several times. Each time they were soundly beaten to a pulp and loose many building plots illegally taken as punishment.

As time goes on, the homeowners in the basement are abused and humiliated more and more harshly, trying many times to get some sort of justice by striking out with what little resources they have. This is seen as terrorist activity by the outsiders, who continue to abuse and punish them, creating a never ending cycle of violence.

Even though the outsiders have all the power, they continue to act like victims, insisting that the downtrodden and humiliated homeowners trapped for 50 years in the basement of their own house make the first move toward peace.

This story has no happy ending because the outsiders, equipped with way to much raw power, see no reason to try anything that might be perceived as weakness. Firmly believing in the doctrine that might makes right, they see brute force and violence as a way to solve their problems. Having a cellar full of angry and humiliated people in their house is considered better than addressing their grievances, as the cellar door can always be made stronger.

They do not seem to see that if 50 years of arrogance, violence and humiliation haven’t solved their problems, its time to try something else.
